Rockburn Branch Park - By School We meet in the parking lot near the information board. GPS Coordinates: 39.217491, -76.768408 Physical Address: 6124 Rockburn Branch Park Dr, Elkridge, MD 21075 Note: The following address is for a school that you pass on your way to where we meet for the hike. It is intended to be used as a point of reference and is NOT where we meet. NOTE: Be sure you pass the school and take a turn into the second parking lot on your left! The first lot on the left is NOT for parking and is for maintenance vehicles only. If you reach the ball fields and basketball courts then you have gone TOO far. (see map below) Driving Directions: From US-29: At the traffic circle, take the 3rd exit for Meadowridge Road and cross over MD-100; proceed straight at next traffic circle on Meadowridge Road. In 0.4 miles, at the traffic signal, make a right onto Montgomery Road. Proceed 0.2 miles to traffic signal and make a left to remain on Montgomery Road. In 0.6 miles, make a left onto Rockburn Branch Park Road and proceed to park. Please confirm that you are indeed where the directions at the top of this page says you should be for this hike. From MD-100 W: From MD-100 W, take exit 4 to merge onto MD-103 W/Meadowridge Road. In 0.4 miles, at the traffic signal, make a right onto Montgomery Road. Proceed 0.2 miles to traffic signal and make a left to remain on Montgomery Road. In 0.6 miles, make a left onto Rockburn Branch Park Road and proceed to park. Please confirm that you are indeed where the directions at the top of this page says you should be for this hike. Public Transportation: Unknown - If you know, please send us the information. Thanks NOTE: Please remember to take the leader(s) number(s) with you but please respect the fact that we are all volunteers and there is often no cell coverage at trailheads and varies according to service provider. If you call very close to hike time, please understand that we are very busy with pre-hike preparations for ourselves in addition to group sign in, pre-hike briefing, and then leading the hike. It is also very difficult to provide instructions to someone while following them too, hence providing very detailed directions on this separate page.
