Head southwest on I-66 W (50.7 miles). Take exit 13 toward VA-79/VA-55/Linden/Front Royal (0.2 miles). Turn left onto VA-79 S (0.2 miles). Turn right onto VA-55 W (4.7 miles). Turn left onto Remount Rd (0.4 miles). Turn right onto E Criser Rd (0.7 miles). Turn left onto US-340 S (21.2 miles). Turn right onto Sandy Hook Rd (1.1 miles). Continue onto State Rte 648 (0.2 miles). Continue onto Old Forge Rd (1.3 miles). Turn right onto Sedwick Rd (1.1 miles). Turn right onto State Rte 675 (0.9 miles). Turn right to stay on State Rte 675 (~125 ft). Turn right onto State Rte 684 (8.3 miles). Continue straight onto State Rte 717 (4.1 miles). Destination will be on your right.

Head northeast on I-81 N (17.1 miles). Take exit 264 for US 211 toward New Market/Timberville/Luray (0.3 miles). Turn right onto US-211 E/W Old Cross Rd (0.2 miles). Turn left onto N Congress St (0.3 miles). Turn right onto US-211 E (11.0 miles). Turn left onto State Rte 652 (0.7 miles). Continue onto State Rte 647 (0.5 miles). Turn right onto State Rte 652 (0.8 miles). Turn left onto State Rte 675 (0.5 miles). Turn left to stay on State Rte 675 (1.8 miles). Turn right to stay on State Rte 675 (~125 ft). Turn right onto State Rte 684 (8.3 miles). Continue straight onto State Rte 717 (4.1 miles). Destination will be on your right.

Please remember to take the leader(s) number(s) with you but please respect the fact that we are all volunteers and there is often no cell coverage at trailheads and varies according to service provider. If you call very close to hike time, please understand that we are very busy with pre-hike preparations for ourselves in addition to group sign in, pre-hike briefing, and then leading the hike. It is also very difficult to provide instructions to someone while following them too, hence providing very detailed directions on this separate page. Leaders are advised to not answer phones once a hike is started so we don't miss a turn on the trail due to the distraction of a call. Thank you for your understanding and see you there!
