Use the left 2 lanes to take the I-95 S/I-495 S/Washington S/Richmond S exit (1.3 miles). Merge onto I-495 S/I-95 S (6.9 miles). Use the right 2 lanes to take exit 19A to merge onto US-50 E toward Annapolis (Partial Toll Road) (41.2 miles). Continue onto US-301 N (22.7 miles). Take the MD-290 exit toward Crumpton (0.2 miles). Turn right onto MD-290 N (4.7 miles). Turn left onto MD-291 W (1.0 miles). Turn right onto MD-298 W (1.2 miles). Turn left to stay on MD-298 W (0.4 miles). Turn right to stay on MD-298 W (4.9 miles). Turn right onto Turners Creek Rd (2.6 miles).

Head southeast on I-695 S (3.8 miles). Keep left at the fork to continue on I-97 S, follow signs for Annapolis/Bay Bridge (17.5 miles). Use the left 2 lanes to merge onto US-301 N/US-50 E toward Annapolis/Bay Bridge (Partial Toll Road) (47.7 miles). Take the MD-290 exit toward Crumpton (0.2 miles). Turn right onto MD-290 N (4.7 miles). Turn left onto MD-291 W (1.0 miles). Turn right onto MD-298 W (1.2 miles). Turn left to stay on MD-298 W (0.4 miles). Turn right to stay on MD-298 W (4.9 miles). Turn right onto Turners Creek Rd (2.6 miles).

Please remember to take the leader(s) number(s) with you but please respect the fact that we are all volunteers and there is often no cell coverage at trailheads and varies according to service provider. If you call very close to hike time, please understand that we are very busy with pre-hike preparations for ourselves in addition to group sign in, pre-hike briefing, and then leading the hike. It is also very difficult to provide instructions to someone while following them too, hence providing very detailed directions on this separate page. Leaders are advised to not answer phones once a hike is started so we don't miss a turn on the trail due to the distraction of a call. Thank you for your understanding and see you there!
